Mexican Jewellery

We have an incredible range of silver jewellery direct from the local artists of Mexico. Each exquisite piece has been handmade and specifically selected for its unique design and perfect craftsmanship.

Our one-off pieces are solid silver or inlaid and/or interwoven with local semi-precious stones, such as onyx, turquoise, red coral, malachite and lapis lazuli.

Peruvian Jewellery

We are proud to support the local silversmiths & jewellers of Peru. Highly skilled, the artisans have their own unique style using a wide range of local materials to create their eye-catching works of art.

Semi precious stones and coloured glass are intertwined, or woven, into Alpacca silver by hand to make chokers, pendants, necklaces and earrings (sets available).

WHAT IS ALPACCA SILVER?

Originally named for its silver-white colour, Alpacca is a trade name for nickel silver and electro-plated nickel silver. It is a bright, resistant and beautiful alloy composed of 25% silver, with varying percentages of copper, zinc and/or nickel. It has all the properties of stainless steel - it does not rust or tarnish and is non allergenic - however it actually becomes brighter with daily sunlight, cleaning, and use!

Care for your Alpacca silver:
1. Soak for 1 minute in lime juice
2. Wash in soapy water
3. Rinse in cold water
4. Dry with a hairdryer

Seminario Ceramic Jewellery

We also have an exclusive range of Seminario ceramic jewellery from the town of Urubamba, Peru. Seminario’s work aims to revive Peru's culture and bring the world of magic and dreams back into people's lives by sharing their traditional ceramic culture with the world.

Made primarily from the red clay found in the nearby Sacred Valley of the Incas, this small group of creative and skilled artisans patiently paint each unique piece following the tradition of pre-Colombian pottery, using images that resemble pre-Inca designs.

Choose from colourful and lively ceramic pendants, necklaces and earrings all skillfully inlaid with high quality silver.
